Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
With the growing popularity of the entire Call of Duty series it comes as no surprise that the 4th installment would be even better than the previous ones. The single player storyline is insanely cool and lengthy, and the multiplayer mode is ridiculously addictive. You might as well cancel your social life for a while once you get ahold of this bad boy. A rising international conflict with two different sides to be on makes this game quite the keeper. You should at least give it a rent.
MotorStorm
Insanely awesome crashes in sweet slow motion make this game the best looking motorstyle game at the moment. You'll watch crashes over and over and be dazzled every time. The gameplay is great with plenty of different courses and vehicles to choose from. The only downside is the lack of a split screen multiplayer mode, although it will likely come out in the sequel, so keep a lookout.
